The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden

Today ’s photos are from Petra Williams , who has a long history here at the GPOD of taking us on her gardening travel . She ’s take us to Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island in New York ( HERE ) , the Central Park Conservatory Garden in New York City ( HERE ) , and the Desert Botanic Garden in Phoenix , Arizona ( HERE ) , as well as her own summer - sign garden in Vermont ( HERE ) . Today she ’s take us back to New York again . She says,“On a Friday evening , just as leaping was begin up here , my husband and I work to the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx to see their Orchid Show call Chandeliers . In addition discover all those gorgeous orchids beautifully placed in The Enid A. Haupt Conservatory , the price of admission include a meth of wine-coloured . Quite the nice eventide . On the way to the Conservatory , there were a few trees that caught my centre , one of the largest star magnolias that I ’ve seen in full blossom , and a paperbark maple that did n’t have a leaf , but what a trunk ! I also experience some pictures of the Conservatory at sunset . It is such a endearing construction . “Gorgeous , Petra ! I get it on NYBG .
