This gardener isn’t deterred by a lack of space

Today we ’re off to Mississauga , Ontario , Canada , to visit Wema Mojar ’s beautiful balcony garden .

Wema has transformed her tiny balcony space into a beautiful and productive garden . If you intend you ca n’t have a garden because you do n’t have the quad , this post will test you wrong !

One corner of the balcony is pack with industrial plant both beautiful and edible . Wema has certainly create a much more beautiful sight than just a position of a parking lot !

One great way to make the most out of a small space is to go UP . pilfer this container up multiplies the space available to farm thing . And I love the yellow fawn Jenny ( Lysimachianummularia‘Aurea ’ , Zones 3–9 ) tumble over the edge .

count down a bit really shows how Wema has created a paries of greenery . And to make this space do even more work , Wema has mixed in edibles with the ornamentals . I see apepperplant and atomatoplant growing along with the beautiful foliation and flowers .

Strawberries , beans , peppers , bunches of William Green , carrot — and it looks like squelch all growing happily ! Ornamentalsweet potato vines(Ipomoeabatatas , zone 9–11 or as annuals ) are tucked in as well to add some color .

And in the back is a tower planting oftomatoes ! Wema has really turned this balcony into a small hobo camp of greenery .

And one final jibe of a flowery balcony occupant includes a cheerful million bell ( Calebrachoahybrid , annual ) , with a few tomato parting sneaking their manner into the motion-picture show .
