Today ’s photos are from Pam Wittenberg in Santa Rosa , California . We ’ve visited with Pam many metre ( HERE , HERE , HERE , HERE , HERE , HERE , and especiallyHERE ) , but we have n’t seen anything from her in a while !
She says,“I do n’t see many pics of succulents on the GPOD berth , so I think I ’d share some of mine . For many , they are an acquire tasting , and I am no exception .
“ My Mom has always been a huge fan of all succulent , and she got me started with them about 10 years ago . 98 % of the succulents in my garden are from cuttings she gave me . The other 2 % are cast - offs from other gardens , or baby’s room come up that I just ca n’t resist . Now I ca n’t get enough of them . After all , what is more perfect than a works you could just break off and stick in the undercoat and ignore ? Or a plant that drops a folio and creates a whole new plant at the root of the fallen leaf ?

“ I used to have more variety , but even in my zone 9b garden , the winter first in the 20s are enough to turn many salmagundi to treacle , so I weigh on the I I know can survive the “ harsh ” California winter ! ”
Oh , Pam , I am sooooo toy a tiny fiddle for you over those abrasive winters….kidding ! ! Your succulent are beautiful ! I LOVE the plantation owner with the dagger ( sorry , that should be ARMILLARY ) in the middle , especially . Thanks so much for share-out , and do n’t be such a stranger !
- The push is still on – get outdoors and take some last minute pellet , or compile a few you took in the beginning in the season . I ’ll be eternally thankful … . Email them to[email protected ] . Thanks ! * * * *
