From overgrown to secret paradise
Today we ’re visiting the garden of Tracie Bangs in Norfolk , Virginia ( Zone 8) .
We move to an brute - infested old menage in a jungle six class ago in Norfolk as we downsized . The soil was in force , and a mess of overgrown old plants were here . I moved things around and contribute until I had my own little hole-and-corner garden .
The garden is full of flower , and an evergreen plant sieve facilitate produce a individual , privy space to savour .

The garden gate , flanked by flower azalea , welcome you into the garden and excludes the bunco and ado of the outside world .
Every garden need a place to seat , relax , and bask the beauty . This comfortable couch chair is flank by pots of blooming annuals and foliation plant to create a lovely little escape .
More well-heeled seating , while a small fountain and bird feeders receive square visitors to enjoy the garden as well . The downspout from the gutters runs into a large piss barrel , which collects rain to use as a free and environmentally sensitive source of water to care for the garden .

This garden is blessed with ripe Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree and shrubs , creating beauty and privacy .
