The Belgian company , Air.clima latterly reanimate three Westland Bloemen Export ( WBE ) cool down cells at its distribution center in the Netherlands . Here , this company receive air and sea cargo and forwards it , chill , to their other branches . The cold depot in query are 861 m² , 656 m² , and 623 m² .
The WBE team : Daniel , Ricardo , Jesper , and Jaap , who work in the cooling cell every twenty-four hour period .
Cees Jan , WBE ’s CFO , says this about the project , " The cool off system ’s engineering was quite outdated . It was 20 years onetime and used disused , increasingly expensive cool down gases . It sometimes leaked , allow the flatulency to evaporate , which had to be replenished . We had to expend a young eccentric of cooling throttle , but the piping could n’t care the pressing . So it was cost more and more money . " In short , a system that painfully take replacing .

The Air.clima team dismantled the existing cool down system , which still used R448a , a synthetical coolant , which they removed per current legislating . They then establish an entirely new infrigidation system that use CO2 as a coolant . It has a great power unit , a gas cooler , and 20 evaporators .
" A CO2 organization is high-priced , but it now do away with the chemic coolants , which make it far more eco - friendly , " says Cees . Not only that , the new infrigidation organisation is much more vigor - effective , something about which both WBE and Air.clima can be glad .

It is not the first meter WBE has worked with Air.clima . And , thanks to their previous collaboration WBE decide to ask Air.clima to help with this cool system . " We ’ve worked a lot with Air.clima in the yesteryear , on our other for sites too . We ’ve had respectable experiences with the society . They ’re reliable and respond promptly to problems . Plus , we love how they think . "
" They deploy the new organisation while the quondam one was still guide . During the switching - over , there was a day that it did n’t lam , but the cells remain cold , " explains Cees .
