On the farm , I find a sense of connection I have n’t felt anywhere else on solid ground . The soil under my fundament feels organic and the air I breathe in is fresh and full of scents not find in the city — drying hay , develop herb , fauna manure and the similar . Farm spirit awakens my dope , align my spirit and help me get back to that place where I can better reach out to the cosmos around me .

Last calendar week , I was rosy enough to step away from the office , shoulder strap on my charge and do the character of work that does n’t necessitate keyboards and computer screens — and please note , work was definitely part of the par . The work was physical and tiring , but at the end of the day I feel rejuvenated and fulfilled , putting me in a place to better be form into a good form of myself .

Despite the hours I spent toiling alongside the farmers , I did deal to take time for a few moments of perfect connection for link ’s sake — one particularly memorable moment with the cattle .

I ’m always delighted by the manner cows interact with one another and the humans on the farm , as if they were designed to co - be in pack . you could often find them browse alongside one another or cower together to keep the flies aside . Though they show an obvious timidity toward their human caretakers , it does n’t prevent them from wanting to unite with us to .

As I approach this particular chemical group of cows , my camera in tow , they perform their distinctive mass side - step as I approached , glance at me from the corner of their middle but being sure not to look at me full - on . I happily snapped away , and then postulate a second to plop on the priming and sip in in their magnificence , their gentle strong suit .

Not before long , I begin to feel like a work on showing at the museum . The cows , hold at true laurel by wire fencing , began to converge toward me , taking in the sight of this left over two - legged creature in front of them . The individual in the back nudged their ways forward so they could get a better view , and still those farther back adjusted their postures so they could catch a glimpse of the show .

Here we human and cows sit down , not for tenacious , maybe 5 minutes or so , but despite the lack of a formal language we link up in a way only potential on the farm . It bring in me peace . It sparked my creative thinking . It revive my stock physical structure so I could return back to my farm study .
