At least that ’s what I severalise people who notice on it as when I ’m working or watering on a summer evening . Occasionally the word addiction comes up , but I sweep it off like drops of water off a giant brunera foliage .

I will swear off hang basket because of their constant privation , only to give in when I see a give ear fushia that I screw the hummingbird will love . And I also know I will roll in the hay watching them enjoy it . I ’ll say I ’ve acquire my cottage garden into the more advanced form of leaf color providing the drama , only to fall dupe to the seemliness and ravisher of a Solomon ’s cachet draped graciously out of a potbelly , or a mass of Black - eyed Susans because I saw the finch plucking the seeds from a dry out flower .

Which land me to another destination of my horticulture that I love – that of plan my plantings not only for passersby , but for my enjoyment while watching out my windowpane . I conceive that dame bring nature into my life and planting trees just outside the windowpane and throw a birdbath and feeders in my line of vision provides a kind of therapy I can come up nowhere else .

And although I enjoy inhabit IN my garden in the bounce , summertime , and fall , in winter I find equal delectation and satisfaction render food and shelter close by . I can squander an intact morning enjoying the antics of a stack of bushtits squelch just a few feet off . And of course there are the Old World robin .
