A garden that stands as a relic
Happy Monday , GPODers ! As always , I hope you had a adorable plant - fill weekend .
Today we ’re jumping into a garden with a deep account and plants that hold many stories . Sima Kazarian send in these photos of her mother - in - practice of law ’s garden , share the incredible story of the community that made the space what it is today .
Hello ,

I am sharing my mother - in - jurisprudence ’s garden picture .
The garden is turn up in a beautiful Lithuanian village . It was created year after year by the women who lived here . Almost a hundred eld ago , a teacher implant fruit Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree . War , empty star sign . In 1997 , a new possessor — also a instructor — starts a fire in them . She plant flowers and bush with a unproblematic love for nature . She and her female parent make a simple but very cozy garden . Witch enwrap in thuja . Sinavadis(Lithuanian forAquilegia),peonies , pieplant , fern , boxwood . . .
This garden , as well as my photo , is not about professionalism , but about liveliness together with flora . They feel good here and it shows .

Steps into the garden and lush plant life lifespan from all angles . A fabulous fern and Turkish boxwood make a great immature backcloth for ‘ Pink Petticoat ’ aquilege ( Aquilegiavulgaris‘Pink Petticoat ’ , Zones 3–9 ) .
Yet another stunning columbine , this one I consider is ‘ gloomy Barlow ’ ( Aquilegia vulgarisvar.stellata‘Blue Barlow ’ , Zones 3–9 ) . The well - endure wood of the home behind also making a striking backdrop . A truly beautiful representation of what Sima mentions above , “ life together with industrial plant . ” When we plant and grow thoughtfully , the harmony we create with the nature around us is magical .
thick planting of peonies and even more columbines turn over this part of the garden into a forest of flowers . A meticulously sustain garden is always telling , but I have a particular voiced spot for a more waste , natural feel .

What an incredible way to rise clematis . I do see one leg of a potential trellis hidden inside there , but this planting looks anything but man - made .
last , an incredible rhubarb on the edge of this dense forest . Growing plants that count as good as they taste prepare your garden doubly gratifying .
Thank you for sharing your mother - in - las incredible garden with us , Sima . It ’s always a particular dainty to see familiar plant in a faraway garden .
